Hi Gang, I am a newbie at the pipe making thing. I have a Jet mini lathe (wood) that I currently turn pens, wine stoppers and other small items. I have a Nova mini/midi chuck that came with 2 sets of jaws neither one I think is going to work to mount my future pipe blocks. What do you guyws/gals think would be a good way to go as far as jaws I can but to fit my needs? Thanks in advance!!!

How wide does that thing open?

Take off 2 jaws and I think you'll be able to spin a pipe.

For many applications, you want deeper jaws, and there is a set available from Nova, can't remember their exact name. ONeway calls them tower jaws.

Smokindawg might make a set for you if you ask him super nice.

Depending on the model of your chuck, these look like to best jaws.
