I only want the pieces that are perfectly symmetrical, uniformly colored and of perfect size

well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin

Why smoking two pipes at once of course

Ok guys good news is, the Black Bamboo is here and its sweeet !
Bad news is, I'm just getting over the Flu and I feel like a turd in a toaster oven.
But as soon as I am conscious again and only mildly delirious, I'm going to start packing up dis here stuff and sending it out to you fine gentlemans.
So the guys who havent paid yet need to send over payment if you're still interested in getting your order.
If anyones mailing adress has changed, get the new address to me ASAP.
Going to try to pack everything up this weekend or early next week.

Please let me know if you have any unresponsive wafflers or any nerds that back out. I don't really need any bamboo bu it might be nice to have a little more. I can't pay you in shit like Todd, but I do have a few U.S. dollars laying around in a coffee can somewhere if you accept those. And of course some of those goddamned Canadian quarters and pennies that aren't worth anything.

Ok, one more update !
Its taken an extra week but between the flu and catching up from days on end in bed, I am just getting everything packed today and monday morning.
I am missing payments from a couple guys, and addresses from a couple others. PMs have been sent to everyone I need info from.
Looks like there will probably be some leftovers, so I will send PMs to those who asked about grabbing extras. I'll just go in the order I got requests in, so may not be enough for all, have to wait until I hear back from everybody.
Anyone who hasnt gotten a PM asking about address or payment, your bamboo will be in the mail tomorrow afternoon.

Ok everything is packed and sent! I am a little disappointed, the numbers were wrong somewhere along the way. I didnt think to weigh the bamboo before splitting it up, but we either got less than the 10 kilos ordered, or the 40-60 pieces per kilo number he gave me was way off.
It worked out so everyone got at least the number of pieces they originally ordered, but only because 3 people ended up not wanting their order. If I had filled all the original orders, we would have been short 50 pieces of white and only had about 20 leftover pieces of black.
I can promise everyone they got at least as many pieces as they ordered, most or maybe all of you got a few extra pieces but not as many extra as I thought. Mostly on the white, I think everyone got an extra piece or three of black.
So, its all good I suppose but not exactly what we thought it would be.
Sorry for the guys who wanted to pick up extras, but theres nothing leftover !
Hope everyone is happy. I tried hard to get at least a few really good pieces in each box but it was mostly just grabbing the next 10 pieces off the pile and putting them in the box.

On another note, still havent heard a word back from Mindong !!
On another another note, I would still recommend Tiger for you guys that still need bamboo. He always has a few auctions up on Ebay and I dont think the prices are that much different for smaller orders. There is a link somewhere earlier in this post.
I dont really think he shorted us, but his estimate of how many pieces in a kilo was probably optimistic.

I was about to ask how badly you got shorted. Glad to hear it isn't as bad as it sounds.

Thanks again for taking all this on, Ryan. I know it requires a monumental amount of time and energy. You and your efforts are greatly appreciated!

The math is so convoluted at this point, I havent figured out if I got screwed or if I screwed you guys !
I was short 25 pieces of white on my order, but then I got some extra black to make up for it.
I dont know for sure, but I am happy with it and I think it balanced out in the end.

Edit: Crunched the numbers; somehow we nailed it and nobody got screwed ! :endofmankind:
In a nutshell, we paid $1500 for both types of bamboo and shipping from china. I spent $165 mailing everyones packages for a total spent of $1665.
I collected $1505 from you guys which leaves $160 paid out of my pocket. My order equals $180 so I actually owe you guys $20  Divided between you, that equals $1.80 apiece. Please let me know if you want your $1.80 back and I will issue a refund
I'm pretty stoked. Somehow through all this mess, it came out just about right !
Expect to start getting your packages wednesday and thursday.
