I have to blast the shank and finish the stem on mine and then it's done. I should have the blast done tomorrow afternoon and the stem on saturday.....hopefully.

do you know the project, on which the more you work, the more you spoil? this was mine. i had finished is as best i could at the moment. there are plenty of craftmanship mistakes and if you consider it not to be worth, I can stand out of trade.

heri, that is really cool! How long have you been making pipes, may I ask? I really like the integrated stand as an option. Very very nice.

Definitely a "modern art" flair to it. Well done. Neat stand.

I was going to start mine a few days ago when my headstock started running out of whack. Spindle bearing is out :banghead: If I finish one it will be a miracle :)

I'm out. I spent the day yesterday fumbling around with a drill press. The results were not so good.

Alright, add me to the "done" list. No pictures yet, but just one more coat of shellac tomorrow and she'll be ready to ship out. I think it is one of my better pieces. Thanks for this opportunity!

Getting close. I am going to finish the stem tonight and be ready to stain it tomorrow. It will be finished and ready to drop in the mail on Monday.

My mini-blaster broke about halfway through the shank this afternoon so I had to resort to using the wire wheel on my dremel to do the shank(s). Finally got that all finsihed.

Here is a progress pic.

I would like to point out that I asked for the 9th, and finished mine before then, while all of these other slackers technically are still not done, (here comes the lines about being pregnant, and hormonal, and blah blah blah).

:)

I look forward to the pictures and the drawing of names, and I hope scottie gets her favorite pipe, because of her, you know, fragile state... bwahahahahahaha
