Cracked bowls

I have a few pipes with cracked bowls but not sure how best to repair them. I'm not interested in making masterpieces out of them, just decent smoking instruments. Any advice or help will be appreciated.

Hose-clamp?
Seriously, there's no way to do anything but ring them with something - no glues will hold up to bowl temperature.

Are they cracked all the way through? I had a beautiful straight grain years ago that cracked along the grain, really large, but it didn't go all the way through, smoked like a dream though didn't look as beautiful as it once had!
