Anyone have an extra MT-2 Drill Chuck laying around?

Post by Gershom »

I am finally done fixing my Jet BD920N. I need to get my hands on a good drill chuck, so I thought I would ask you guys which kind would be best, and if anyone had one they don't want anymore! :)

Also, are turret chucks a good idea? I have heard they reduce accuracy.

Thanks guys.

Turret chucks are probably accurate enough for pipe making. Personally I don't use one because I am sure i would catch my hands all the time. For the same price you can get half a dozen drill chucks on ebay, set them up with your main drill bits and you will have almost as quick a change time.
