Post by jogilli »

Good evening all.. here are a few pictures of the last ones for February.. March will be a busy month for me work wise.. so I'm not sure how much shop time I'll be able to get.. as always... comments are more than welcome.. I had a look of fun with these..and the blowfish was my favorite.. I really like the birds eye on it myself

Those are really nice James. Each one is quite well done, but I like the horn the most.

Thanks... for the inlay. I draw a circle around the mortise with a compass and carefully cut it out with an exacto knife.. it takes about 7 hours to get it completely round. just take your time and it will work out..

or you can look here http://jsecpipes.com/PhotoGallery/index ... ch%2Ftools

for something along this line.. and it takes about 20 seconds .. just push the stummel on to the guide and it cuts the ring

Very nice as usual, James. You have a discernable style that is easy to pick out of a line-up. I think that's a tough thing to accomplish with so many pipes and makers on the market today.
