Very nice pipe. Is the bamboo the natural color? If so, you did a very nice job on stain selection, they go very well together.

The curved bamboo was a perfect choice. It looks great with the pipe. I have problems with bamboo. The exact same issues I see on yours... well, I have not been able to move past yet. More practice. Good bamboo work is flat out hard. I've been able to get around some of it by using rings like you have near the stem, but those transitions straight from briar to bamboo are tricky.
