my take on a dublin

The last pipe for the Lohmar Pfeifenmesse show this Saturday... can't hardly wait.. someday I'll make a show in the states.. but until then .. more pictures are on my website.. the pics still don't always come out like I want.. but they came out pretty ok this time

i love that shape and i love the plateau on the top and shank. i also like that sort of inlayish stem too. no critiques here. nice job

I LOVE what you did to the plateau on that bowl! What a unique look, and it really sets it off from the rest of the textures. Great job.

I have to agree James, I love this one. Great simplicity to it, it's really something special!

thanks folks.. it would have looked better unrusticated... the grain was awesome.. almost straight all the way around and it flared a little on the stem.. BUT briar being a root it was not to be.. just little sand pimples ... I do like the way it came out though.. and tks again for the comments
