Faux blast attempt

Well, I decided to try a faux blast finish. I only took one photo, but can take more if needed. Thanks.

Your missing a whole additional axis of texture. Search for member Tommi's work. Now that is a faux blast.
You've got the right idea though.

I used the smallest round and needle engraving bits I could find. Then I used a wire brush the mellow out the lines. I have not figured out Tommi's technique, but I will figure out my own way if possible. All in all, it was fun to try and it will be something I'll keep revisiting until I get it right.
