Canadian Prince

Post by billiard »

Here is a commission that just left the shop, and it is an interesting shape, so I thought a few of you might like to see it. (though I may be wrong about that :))

Length: 7 and 1/8"
Height: 1 and 5/8"
Chamber: .75" X 1 & 3/8"
Weight : 2.1 oz or 60g
Italian Briar block
Hand Cut German Ebonite Stem
Acrylic Faux Ivory

The request was a Prince bowl on a Canadian shank\stem. He requested heavy black rustication and a black ebonite stem. In subsequent emails we agreed on adding a little faux ivory as well.

Thanks guys :)

On the rustication: Usually I just use peanut butter and my German Shepherd Dog but since he wanted a heavy rustication I went all out and used Nutella and my neighbor's over-sized Rottweiler. The Rustication only took a few minutes but retrieving the stummel was a bit tricky ;)
