Yeti Pipe #28- Harad

Post by The Smoking Yeti »

The original shape developed due to some serious sandpit issues. That block of briar sadly never made it to finished state. However, I found a block out of the selection Mimmo sent me which fit the bill perfectly!

Cheers!

I definetly like your work Yeti but maybe the bowl could be heigher and more rounded. By the way, I like the work on the shank and the stem. Color is really good ;)

Nice pipe!

IMO, those hard lines separating the birds eye from the straight grain should follow the lower curve of the pipe. I also kinda wish that your inside curve was a little more swoopy.

Also, I'd switch up the name. "Schnookums" has a ring to it, don't you agree?

Don't even talk to me about the dust. :x

I forgot to clean the glass- didn't think about it till the pipes were in the mail and I was editing the photos. Go figure.
