sources for delrin rods

can you guys make suggestions / recommendations for where to purchase delrin?

Lots of the "usual" places like McMaster-Carr and MSC sell it, as do onlinemetals.com and even Amazon.
If you're having trouble finding it, search for acetal rod. Delrin is a brand name.
