Hi folks,

It's Damien again. Just wondering if any of you know about, or have any suggestions on stem/bit designs for denture wearers? Something a little more comfortable. My own experience as a denture wearer myself, is that a thicker/wider stem and a little more meat on the bit help only a little.

A taller button may help. Some pipe manufacturers made what they call a dental bit. I have no idea if they actually work. Here's a photo:

I know more than one denture-wearing pipe smoker who prefers a P-lip type bit. They are a total cow to cut by hand.

Wow Wayne, that's crazy looking. Even looks like there are grip ribs cut on the underside.

Sas, I have thought about trying the plip quite a few times, I may have to order a couple pre-formed and give them a try.

Thanks guys
