What's the rustication tool you used for that, to get the z shape?

Schmidt, It's a home-made thing that looks like a prison shiv, think of a short fat screw driver with funky notches cut into the bit. I have made a few now and they give me different effects, some effects I like more than others but they all basically do the same thing.

In this pipe I just used the same tool for the whole pipe. Sometimes though I will use several different tools to give me different effects, for example in the pipe I made previous to this, see here: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=8638 I used one tool on the bowl and then on the shank I used a different tools; another home made prison shiv and a Buck pocket knife :)
