That's what the knob is for on top, it's a variable flush ;)

Let me tag on with "excellent post" as well. One must master the basics first. And now, back to the shop.

I actually quite like your IndustroPunk stuff, Nate. Stodgy, old school, Britwood lover me. Go figure.

A close look shows that it ISN'T simply a case of attaching a bunch-O-mechanical stuff to an oddly shaped pipe, either. Dustin B. showed me one---not sure if he owned it, though---that I had a chance to study as long as I wanted, and there is NOTHING simply or easy about creating a visually balanced organic-mechanical object that I could see. That shit takes some serious design and specialized execution chops. (Evidence to that effect is that it isn't exactly cheap, no one else has even tried to copy your stuff.)

Thanks LL! I work very hard to make certain I'm not just one of the 'put some gears on it' so-called 'steampunkers'. They are definitely not a quickly made pipe. But I love every minute of it! It is a challenge and quite fun to out-do myself and try to do more/better on every one.

Yeah so I'm a newbie actually I guess I'm really a noob. Is that lower than newbie? This is a great post Nathan and I found it timely. However, I'd say it should be added to the stickies. Near the read this first posts. I kept seeing a number of posts that said make a billiard. I think Scottie said she makes a billiard every other pipe, in a different thread.
Because, I had seen that advise I started looking at the boring billiard. What a great shape it is. Hoping by the end of the week I can finish up the stem, and post for my first critique. Thank all of you for being willing to use this media to share your knowledge.
