The shaping looks great. I would have stained it a different color, though. I think a bit of a darker stain would show the Strawberry off better. The stem doesn't work for me. Something about it doesn't go with the stummell (don't ask me what it is though. I can't put my finger on it) I could be totally wrong about that and we all know I don't know what the hell I'm talking about :wink:

Nice one, Ryan!

The bowl looks short when compared to the shank. Also, I think the top and bottom taper on the shank is too exaggerated. The saddle has parallel lines and the shank does not (in profile), disrupting the flow where they meet (to my eyes). When viewed from above or below, the shank's left hand taper looks great.

Them's my thoughts.

Holy Texan Longhorn Crap! That is a real nice shape. The taper on the shank is just a little too much to my eye.

Nice pipe! For me the shank taper and length is fine, but the "saddle" radius is too severe.
If I could, I would buy. The strawberry blast always attracts my attention.
