Technically this is my day job. Although, I often quit when I need to actually make some money.

I don't care what the naysayers say or don't say. I say I like this one quite a bit. It is reminiscent of a classic author but with a Danish lean. I like the substantial shank and bit with the "S" curve. Looks like it would feel good in the hand. Placement in the block looks spot on. I do like it way better than the pokey volcano...no accounting for taste is there?

I tried calling it an Author, but was promptly hit over the head with a trout.
I don't think it is an Author by any means, but its inspiration comes from the same stocky lines, but much more stretched, less compact.

And what of the trout? I can provide a shipping address if you're done with it?

Yes, apple is much better for this shape. A true author usually does not look this happy, has such nice posture, or looks this rich. Beautiful pipe!

Very nice.

Might not be an author but it sure would look in front of the fireplace with a good book=)

I'm really like the chubbiness of the shank. This is a great looking pipe.

Thanks guys, made this awhile back. I need to make more bent pipes though, this is a good reminder to get on that.
