Yeah, I'd say that's the gist of the technical process. The op is a humorous distillation of the internal process for creating anything. A theatre friend of mine posted it on facebook and I thought it was hilarious. I can tell you that the majority of theatre folk I've known go through it exactly. Does it not translate?
