Figure carving, anyone?
What you see (besides the stems, of course) is 100% briar. No metal, quills, or etc. Just my trusty Foredom, a bit of fancy staining, and a spare hour to kill.
Not too bad for my first go at something realistic, eh?
OK. You got me. Just foolin'. I didn't make 'em. Wouldn't even know where to start.
It was my cat that did. Really. Shaped 'em with her pointy little needleteeth and hooky little needleclaws. Not sure how she did the staining, though. (I'll have to start keeping a closer eye on her.)

UFOs must be real. There's no other explanation for cats.

Not bad, but the serial number is a bit too large, and the pencil break didn't shatter quite right.
Tell your dog he needs to tighten his game before gettin' all barky, or Daisy will have to show him what time it is fo' real, yo.

George, if you ever want to craft a pipe, this should help.

Just because I only repair 'em, guys like you and that big furry Canadisian think you have a bottomless well of humor to draw upon.
Well, that sort of cheap shot is about to become a thing of the past, Good Sir.
This will make you think twice before messin' with another repairman!

OK, Weaver, Daisy is now acting all ragged out, and I'm blaming it on you. The idea of a lowly dog challenging her is too much, apparently.
She just now brought me a bundle of pencils and meowed, "Look at the write-y end, hapless human! NO dog could carve like that, their teeth and claws are much too blunt and clunky... Hell, they'd probably eat a pencil before they even started carving, thinking it was a bone."
I had to agree. (Plus I was afraid not to.)
So I took a pic. Can Bowser match that? I think not.

Those are Dalton Ghetti pieces and he's amazing. He has exhibits at a number of galleries. His work is nothing short of amazing.

I'm confused. Are you saying that Daisy isn't... female?baweaverpipes wrote:Those are Dalton Ghetti pieces and he's amazing. He has exhibits at a number of galleries. His work is nothing short of amazing.
That's she's actually a tomcat named Dalton?!
