Mr Chheda

Post by BigCasino »

A big thanks for your hospitality, and generosity, your hosting of the "workshops" and giving us all a place to meet up and discuss, collaborate, learn, and joke around is an incredible experience, what little time I get to spend there I always learn something new, and come home with inspiration, and a greater desire to push myself to improve.

I would also like to thank everyone else who took the time to answer my questions, which there are too many to list

It was great to see all of you again, and it was equally great to meet some of you for the first time.

I also would like to extend thanks to Premal for his genuine friendliness and for spending time with me after the show.

To all of you fine folks who made me feel so welcome, Thank You! I am better at remembering faces than names. (I wish I would have taken photos of you guys so I could have written your names with a pic.)

If I were to list everyone I met I would, inadvertently forget one or two and, feel embarrassed.

Thank you all for making the new guy feel welcome. I appreciate the effort.

I am looking forward to seeing you all again.

Thank you,
Rob

I couldn't agree more! It was great to see everyone again that I met at the KC show, and I'm sure I met that many more of you at this one. I've been pretty much a hermit since I retired last November, and it did me a lot of good to mingle with such a great bunch of people - not to mention what I learned from you.
Everyone (and I really do mean everyone) was like an instant "old friend".
Thanks, Premal, for all your (very successful) efforts in putting this together, and the wonderful opportunity you provided for us all. Obviously you have a business to run, and want to see it increase and grow. There's not a doubt in my mind, though, that you would (and do) put the best interests of us ahead of your own. Thank you for so freely sharing your knowledge and your friendship.
I love you guys!! (sniff,sniff)

Iawh as well! Premal is a great guy to share basically anything he has, be it time, resources or knowledge, even with people he has never met. Thanks so much Premal. It was also great to meet you Rob. And Red, I didn't know you were there or I would have sought you out and introduced myself. I overloaded my nerves a little at the show and a lot of things I was hesitant or nervous about were very easy due to the people around me. Thanks guys!

Sorry I missed you too, Joe. I'll catch you next time and introduce myself, though.

Yes it was great finally getting to meet most of you. Honestly you all are exactly how I'd envisioned you to be. I have not come across one ill soul in this brotherhood. Premal as well as many of you have encouraged me and given me helpful advise that you can not put a price on. I am regretful that I did not get to spend time at Smokers Haven with you all. I did however get a chance to stop by there right after the show and Bill showed me around a bit. I was very impressed with the organization and cleanliness. The quality equipment that Premal has and opens his door to us to use is an offering that not many in other trades would be so kind to share and teach others with. I'm looking forward to growing my friendship and partnership with all of you in this extraordinary journey I have embarked on.
Thank you all, especially Premal for bringing us all together to better ourselves.

Thanks Premal, for all that you do for the pipe making community.

As Nate so eloquently put it, you do, indeed, "Rock".

Indeed, Premal is perhaps the most generous and gracious host of all. As Neal Yarm says, he is a "mensch."
