pipe for a knife?
Hello guys, I see lots of you make knifes as well as pipes. I am not sure if this is the right board to post but if anybody is interested I need a new knife, something for skinning animals. I'd be happy to trade a brand new pipe for a decent knife

But here is the pipe I received from norm on the forum his name is notow1. The drilling is absolutly great. I ha...

Re: A hardy shape .
Honestly, i take a pipe with me pretty much everywhere. its a little dublin with a nasty flaw in the top. Its been sat on and dropped and tossed around. As long as its not a pencil shank or something like that, briar is a bit more durable than youd think. That being said i wouldnt Just toss a 300 do...

packaging pipes for sale
I am wondering what are some good materials for making pipe bags to package my pipes In. I would really like to make leather bags or wooden boxes but both of those options are a bit pricey as 95% of my pipes sell for less than 100 dollar

Re: Importance of apprenticeship / having a mentor
having a mentor would be extremely helpful but for some people it just isnt feasible. I live quige far away from the nearest pipemaker. I do want to work on pipes full time and a hands on teaching would be be a big headstart with that sometimes its just not an option and you just jave to learn yours...
