I am quite a newbie on holding my tools sharp. I do not yet own a bench grinder. Is it possible to sharpen up my tool bit (straight round nose shape) on the table disc sander? What are you guys doing for a quick touch up?

I also do a layer of shellac. I dont buff sandblast. But maybe I am no good at aplying an even layer on the damn thing

I have problems getting an even shine on sandblast and Rusticated after applying shellac. I Think I have read in this forum that a soft nylon non abbrasive wheel would do the trick? Of course after the shellac is dry! And yes my shellac is cut
