Re: Bent Apple

I tried calling it an Author, but was promptly hit over the head with a trout. I don't think it is an Author by any means, but its inspiration comes from the same stocky lines, but much more stretched, less compact. Yes, apple is much better for this shape. A true author usually does not look this ...

I like this! Looks very old school Danish but with a modern twist. Nice.

Re: Yeti Pipe #26- The Sapper

I really like a well-made panel pipe, and I really like this one. The recessed panels are really beautiful and yet, they don't steal the show as everything on this pipe looks to be (at least, to me) in balance and harmony. I also am amazed at that rustication on top and at the end of the ! I totally...

Wow. I'd be happy to have that in my collection. I really like your rustication and I don't even mind the factory stem. Congrats!

Re: The Mockingbird

That looks like a beautiful pipe, overall. Nice shaping, nice grain, good proportions, etc. But (and this is a small but), is it really that yellow??? If so, wow, that is a Yellow pipe! If not (and I know you mentioned you're not that great of a photog), you might want to (or give someone permission...

Beautiful work! I would be proud to have that #14 in my collection (and I don't even really like straight grains--but that one is a beauty!).

Re: Sasquatcho "Collection" KKKK

I think that Sasquatch Rock is pretty, pretty, pretty sweet. I really like the dark/light contrasty combo and that rustication is out of this world. Did you use a tiny pickaxe? And what does that sucker weigh in at?

Wow! That's amazing! Reminds me of the old, linenfold carvings on old, English cabinets, like this:

except, these are better because you can smoke 'em! Beautiful work!

Re: Dedicating Pipes

[ Regardless, my comments were specific to Darth Vader... no recollection of a "Che" or "Fidel" in the movies. Now, there's an idea (and since Disney has just bought the Star Wars Franchise): Che and Fidel vs. Darth Vader: EVIL VS. EVIL VS EEEVILLL! ..although, I don't think tha...

Soon, Walle, when Fidel is dead and the U.S. opens trade with Cuba again, these will line the humidors of tobacco shops everywhere:

The sad thing is, they will probably be really good.

Re: Dedicating Pipes

If I had a big ass pipe I would throw it at your head Ernie rev Rev, Instead of throwing your big ass pipe at Ernie's head, I think you should smoke it instead, and then dedicate it to Gandhi, as a gesture of non-violence... and then throw it at Ernie's head...but, in a really non-violent way... In...

Re: Dedicating Pipes

I hereby dedicate all future pipes issued from esteemed House of Markle to the illustrious and emulation-worthy name of one Darth Vader. Please don't be confused into thinking that I'm taking sides - I support the rebellion as much as any man. It just turns out that my perspective is broader than t...
