The straight bowl is a really cool feature of your pipe. I agree about the bowl/shank section. Tweaking that will get you a really nice cylindrical bowl.

I was secretly working on a rhodesian in hopes that I could finish something decent, THEN put my name in the PIHT list. However this block had other plans. Grape vine experience?
A friend has offered me some grape vine that he cut down a few years ago. Haven't had a chance to see it yet but I am interested in hearing if anyone has used it before. He said the trunk is about 3 to 4 inches in diameter.
