Re: Aromatic Reccomendations
I'm new to this myself but I find I like just about anything with Gold in the name. Peterson Gold Blend is a favorite and Captain Black Gold is a descent cheap fall back but I think you are going to find you will have to mail order your pipe tobacco. Try tobaccoreviews.com and enter the criteria you...

Re: Lightweight?
I like the curvature down the length of the stem and I like the gold coloring of the stain. Not sure is the chamber walls are too thin but I love the grain pattern and the styling around the edge of the bowl. I just like this style of pipe.

Re: Prince Albert "Alaskan Song"
The coloration is fantastic, like the cats eye gem or rootbeer candy, I am partial to the prince/apple/pear shapes as it is.

Re: First seeds planted
When all the seeds have germinated in your tray and have a nice fully formed first set of leaves, you should take the dome off, but make sure your keep the medium moist. Those little tray cells will dry out quickly in direct sun. You can leave some standing water in the tray under the cells. If the...

How damp is the soil? Also, how much heat does the lamp produce? Here in So. Cal. I moderately pressed down the soil, wet the soil and then laid the seeds on top (this was last year) and put the trays, with a clear plastic cover, out in the sun daily and most of the plants sprouted in about 10 days.

That could work... yes ithink so, but how to cut it - this is the main problem. Any idea? George May be better to do a straight cut, at an angle that takes off all the the damage in one pass. You would need a very thin kerf saw that cuts very straight. Then you would have a larger surface area to g...

Re: Need help with a Fill
I know it's heresy, but I need to fill a hole in a pipe. I was refinishing a pipe for a friend and knocked out one of the pre existing fills. Are you not able to use the existing fill that was knocked out? Seems like if you could use the original fill then you would just have to fix the circumferen...
