Well I finally got my block in from Turkey :) Obviously it's it's against the law their to send out raw material so he just made a kit for me. Still not a true pipe maker yet but I think I'm well on my way to. And I don't really have a choice on Meer considering the laws. ANYWAYS, it came to me as a...

Re: Sanding question
Now that I have a proper lathe :), I am getting all my stuff together! I am buying the arbors and buffing wheels from PIMO but I still need a sanding set up. I really like the one at Tyler's shop, it's a padded (foam) 6" disk I believe with velcro attached sanding sheets. I am getting a jacobs...

How many pipes have you screwed up?
Well I got some more briar kits in since I don't have my lathe yet (that will be fixed tomorrow) and I decided to make another poker because I still haven't fixed the problems I was doing on the previous two. I also was going to make a volcano. The beginning stages of the volcano started well but I ...

Re: Please list in level of importance
Great topic :) I think for me personally, I will take the middle ground. Find a good used wood lathe OR fix the one I got OR buy a new one. Either way, get a good working wood lathe for drilling, turning and sanding purposes. Other than that, after getting it tooled up I would buy w/e I needed to ma...

Personally speaking I am finding it hard to see a lot of to contours due to it being black and having shadows. I love the stem
