My 15th pipe and 3 months since I made my first pipe. That's a magic number. I decided to do a small and very light pipe with low capacity for smoking it when i just want to smoke short time or I want to try more than one tobacco. So there’s no needing for a high capacity pipe. I stained it to look ...
This was my fifth pipe. I did it 3 months ago from a predrilled kit. It was the last pipe I did from a kit. It came with his own stem and at that time I didn't modify any stem yet so that was the best I was able to do with that kit. It had two issues: it was not designed for a horn, but for a canadi...
I really, really love your pipes! They seem so elegant and sophisticated to me. Very inspiring, sir. It may be a secret, but can you comment on your finishing techniques? Being honest, I think that the secret finishing technique is just a good photo. I just sand stain them and then polish and apply...
I missed the last comments. I have been very busy with the baby and my job these days.

I tried to apply the advice that UberHuberMan gave me in the last post and I'm removing more wood from the juncture of bowl and shank. Anyway, i think I need to improve this part a lo...
Really nice work for your first 10! My favorite is your bent ball. IMO, it's got the best balance and composition to my eye. You can take more wood off of the shank/bowl junction from the top and both sides. All of your pipes are a little heavy there. On your next pipe, try imagining that the bowl ...
Thank you guys for your comments. I did two more pipes since then, with a 2 weeks stop in between (my first son born in that time :)). I didn't post the previous ones because I didn't drilled them (they were kits) and then i don't consider them MY pipes... I just did them more beautiful, but the pip...
Hello, I'll use this post as a kind of presentation. I'm Joan Cantó and I'm a commercial photographer from Catalonia (Spain). During the moving from my old studio to the new one that I bought there was some unuseful time without working. then I decided to try to make my own pipe from a predrilled ki...
