Chin on a pipe is typically an undesirable term used to describe a heel with too much material left on it. Shapes like the Castello 55 and the skater leave material there on purpose but it's debatable whether it's still desirable or not.

Desirable or not, it's still called a chin. So are we to believe that Wayne is hiding something on the back of his head?

Yes but when I wear a hat you don't notice it as much.

No worries there boys. I confuse myself at least twice daily, so I'm used to living with the feeling

I'm in this camp, for the simple reason that when I'm smoking a pipe, my chin and the pipe's chin are oriented in the same direction. Same with the back, etc. Just makes sense to me.
