Tennessee pipe for my BIL

Finished up this pipe for my brother in law just in time to deliver to it to him in Germany next month. He asked for a Tennessee pipe, hopefully this will fit the bill.

Just about 5" long with a polyester resin stem. I had a few hiccups keeping the white in the checkerboard clean but I decided to leave it as you see it rather than risk really screwing it up. It kind of looks kind of antiqued maybe if you squint a little.

Feel free to offer any comments, opinions or critiques. I'm always looking for ways to improve. Thanks.

This one and the small Dublin you posted are the best pipes I've seen from you to date. Keep up the great work!

Ryan, you'll have to take that up with my BIL. Just be careful or he may call in a favor with one of the fighter pilots he works with. :wink:

No worries, I just listened to the song again, and apparently T is for Texas AND Tennessee.

Sure, a bunch came from Tennessee. But Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio, a bunch of others came too. Very few Europeans had been born in Texas at that point, including Spanish even though they claimed it for several hundred years. In 1836 I don't believe a single fighting age American had been born in the State.
