I've just opened a 15 yr. old tin of McClelland No.27
It smells a bit moldy. Tin is in perfect shape.
Must I discard this or can something be done to save it?
TIA
Regards,
Steve
Stupid question??
Magruder, have you tried that #27 yet? If so, what are your impressions? Did it actually mold, or was your nose playing tricks on you? The reason I ask is that I have some #27 that I was planning on keeping at least that long, and I was curious as to your thoughts on how it tastes, and if the extra time was worth it, etc.
