Fiebings Pro Dye vs Fiebings (Standard) Leather Dye
I have recently found out that there is a Pro Version of Fiebings Leather Dye which should be improved. Had anyone of you guys tried that one? Is it really an improvement? Or which one would you recommend? Traditional or Pro Version?

Re: Fiebings Pro Dye vs Fiebings (Standard) Leather Dye
The standard formula has been used for pipes for decades without problems. It's the standard.
If the new Pro stuff is simply a more "environmentally friendly" version (which I suspect), whether it actually works better is a good question.
MANY products that have been changed in that way don't. Old School lacquer finish for guitars hasn't been topped in the decades since it was (effectively) outlawed, for example.
Meaning, personally, I wouldn't change horses in the middle of the stream as long as the original formulation is still available.

UFOs must be real. There's no other explanation for cats.
