smokindawg lathe tools
smokindawg lathe tools
Hey all, my garage was recently broken into and one of the items stolen was my lathe chuck made by smokindawg. Not sure if he still makes and sells those (I did message him), but if not is there another option out there for a similar chuck?

Re: smokindawg lathe tools
I didn't know he made a complete chuck, so if that is the case, the following information may not be helpful.
I purchased briar chuck jaws from Smokingdawg when I first started making pipes and put them on a Oneway 4 jaw chuck that I had. Steve Norse at Vermont Freehand has the updated version that has the center pins in them. https://vermontfreehand.com/product/chuck-jaws/
These are an updated version of the original Smokingdawg Jaws. As for the chuck, you would have to purchase a new four jaw chuck for your lathe. If you purchase these jaws.
