I'm looking for a good source for boxwood. I'm also a bit confused by the current varities being offered. I'd love some of the that milky smooth yellow boxwood I see on many high grade pipes. I've had some very much like it in the past that we used in the piano trade as bridge cap material. I think it was from Thailand or Laos. I bought a two foot log of it once. Sure wish I had some of that now!
Anyway, any insites on a good source, and the best varieties to look for would be most appreaciated.

I found this guy on e-bay and bought 6-7 pieces for about $65. then of course shipping on top of that. I was lucky that the diameter ranged from 2 " to maybe 3 1/2. I really don't know if the larger diameter is preffered.
For the amount that pipemaker like me uses, I've got enough to last me a lifetime.
