Fleur-de lis (antiqued)

Post by Duane »

My “Fleur-de-lis” pipe…is a tribute to “Jon of arc!”…who was burned at the stake for heresy when she was 19 years old. She carried the banner with the “Fleur-de-lis” on it, which is a symbol of spiritual power, victory and enlightenment. Although she didn’t actually fight, she led others on the battle field. Claiming divine guidance, she led the French army to several important victories during the Hundred Years' War, which paved the way for the coronation of Charles VII of France. She was canonized (made a saint) in 1920 as a patron saint of France.

BUT...Come On Guys!! Boys will be boys, but you don’t burn the “virgins”!!! You burn the old dried up hags with no teeth!! This smoking pipe is to remember “Don’t Burn the Young Virgins!!”

And the finish is "Antiqued"...like used cars are now "pre-owned" cars...and used pipes are "Estate" pipes now...and when the finish sucks, you call it "Antiqued"...and charge a little more for it! heehee!

:whisper: (Hey Rad...I thought you got rid of this a$$hole?!?!)
