#041 Chubby Bamboo Dublin

Hmm... I must be missing it. What I see is the divot in the shank followed by the bamboo, but no divot in the bamboo.Charl wrote:The story about the divot in the shank is about the story of the divot in the bamboo, I'd say. Look closely.

it is not a commission, but it already has a place to go.wisemanpipes wrote:beauty pipe. was this a commision? if so they are very lucky. i think an ebonite/ivory spacer would clean the bamboo/shank transition

Thanks.Massis wrote:beautiful. The bamboo fits nicely, the ring on the end of the shank is a nice size, and the flare on the stem is the perfect width. Out of your latest work, I like this one best!
Thanks. it is boxwood.AlfaDog wrote:I think this one is my favorite. Is the ring yellowheart? I got some in recently I've been wanting to try.

Thanks.Charl wrote:Nicely done. Although for me the colours do not work.
I didn't change the bamboo in the process. there is a divot in the bamboo, just not that big.UberHuberMan wrote:Hmm... I must be missing it. In the second to last photo, I see a ridge in the bamboo where the divot should be, followed by the valley of the divot in the shank.
