For those of you who don't know what becomes of the carving contest's 7-day set, it is put in a custom case made by lathemaster Anthony Harris and awarded to the winning ticket holder of a raffle that takes place during the show.
Tickets are $25 each/5 for $100, and ALL the proceeds---minus the (reasonable) cost of the custom case---are divided equally among the seven winning carvers. The club makes nothing on this contest.
Besides possibly winning a kick-ass set of masterpieces worth thousands, buying a ticket always supports your fellow pipe makers.
Please buy all the tickets you can afford between now and show time. You do NOT have to be present to win.
