Does that mean I CAN'T bejewel my "masterpieces" with diamonds and rubies and sell them for 10 G's???!
Wonder how many people will get this
I got it too.

Someone beat you to it. Granted, he's only asking $4500.

The most expensive badly shaped pipe in America; and darn well worth it.

The older folks will get the reference.

The fact that we're still talking about these pipes might mean he was right- they really are art! :o

K maybe not.

It stands to reason that if you're not a Dane, benn taught by a Dane, or paid a Dane$$$$$ to train
that(Now listen up Italians) you will never be able to make a good pipe.EVER So remember rest
of the world stop waisting time making pipes Or move to Denmark.

The most innovative and technically well crafted & finished pipes I have seen currently are mostly made by Americans and Russian/Ukrainian/Eastern Europions. The prices are also very reasonable.

Not to Say that the Germans and Danes are not also doing it as well, but I am personally seeing more from the above mentioned countries.

Just thought I'd point out how ironic it is that in a thread entitled "Ernie's Shrine of Pipe Excellence" appeared a pipe by Mike Messer.

You spelled his name, probably even pronounced it out loud.... Go pray to the briar gods for an hour and never do that again

Btw, I just finished the drilling and initial lathe shaping on a batch of pipes to work on this week, three of them are billiards, this means I'll have to dedicate some attention to careful notch cutting

This is one of the most factual opinions ive read on this site.

I was curious about this so I googled his name and found his website.

Its interesting that he makes sure to spell the prices in parenthesis beside the numerical price. It's as if he knew that, because of shock, I may not comprehend the number and resort to using words to understand it.
