Well I’m now on PITH #3. #1 & #2 both had issues. Trying to meet the deadline but I may be a few days late- here is a progress/proof of life photo.

That's looking great. I love that style of dublin but haven't tried one - I can't ever get the lines to look right when I try drawing them.

Thanks!
Credits go to Chris Kelly (Eldritch pipes) for his groundbreaking work with resin casting on pipes. That's what gave me the idea.

I finally got my PITH pipe done! Still a couple of scratches to get out and a last good buff, and she's ready to go! Thanks for the extra time, fellas!

Here is my 2019 PITH. Unfortunately I’m on vacation until the 18th, so I’ll ship it once I get back. The technical flaws are very obvious to me,... I attempted a few pipes that were a bit outside my skill level,...,and came back to something that felt a bit more comfortable. At last I felt a bit more defeated. During the finishing of this pipe I started another ( completely unrelated to pith) and a lot of the lessons learned, and defeat, turned into more patience with myself and paying closer attention to detail. All in all, I’m happy with my pith. It’s maybe my 11th pipe I’ve made ... and only the 4th stem I’ve ever made. I hope it smokes well for who ever gets it. Cheers-Matt Macri
