Hello,
It's been a long time since I made a pipe. My little cousin motivated me enough to make a pipe with him this summer. I'll have to share pics of his when we finish that one too - hopefully in a few weeks.
Since 2014, I had the idea of making a pipe that was square-shaped. It's briar with an ebonite stem. Thanks for your opinions and thoughts. Jake

If you impliment George's advice you will have yourself one heck of a pipe.

Yep.
Your transition and panels is clean and crisp, and the bottom transitions well into the panels.
Aim for 0.15" behind the button (~3.8-4 mm) and make your stem taper smooth and straight or slightly concave. Convex tends to look "blimpy".
