Hello everyone,
I’ve recently become infatuated with the matte finish on Big Ben Pipos. I’m wanting to achieve a similar “Matte acrylic” finished look on a certain pipe that I’m working on. Does anybody have resources they can point me to to advise me in this endeavor?

Rustoleum Satin Finish.

I have gotten a similar finish by finishing to a high gloss, minus wax, and then wiping everything down with denatured alcohol. Make sure the stain is set, though, and go easy on the alcohol, or you can undo a lot of stain work.

Actually, that's exactly what that looks like. I use flat black spray paint on a lot of projects (no pipes) and it looks exactly like that.
