Olive species?

Olive species?

I have access to olive wood up to 8/4" thick in planks. Is this the right stuff for olive pipes? What is "Wild Olive" compared to more relaxed, normal olive?

The tame stuff doesn't have the desireable whip marks and buckshot holes that the wild stuff has. :twisted:

Maybe a guy starts with tame olive, and works his way to Wild Stallion Olive...
