here is my next variation on a theme. I had asked before if Pierre (is that your name? :-)) had been spying on me and if you look at his reply to my first post, you'll see now what I was talking about.

Your finish is spot on. I like what your trying to do with the shape, but IMHO there is too much meat left on that pipe. I would have removed a lot more material. Right now the design seems bulky. Of course, if that was your aim then you nailed it. When I think "seahorse" I see something small and sprightly. Take all of that with a grain of salt of course. You've really done quite an excellent pipe.

I think those who see a big chunky pipe are missing the calabash chamber part of the description. Wonderful execution and finishing. Looks to be very easy to hold.
