Playing around with the basic form of dublin- I didn't bother doing any careful drawings for this one, just followed me some grain.

Let me know what ya'll think.

Cheers!

Shit happens. I don't have time for super special sauce on all my pipes. So I've just been using simple white w/glass for a lot of 'em.

It looks good, dude. I think the shank extension is a little long, but that seems to be your signature. I'd also say that the taper on the stem after the flare looks a little confused. Really thick at the flare then tapering to a vanishing point in the middle of the stem, but flattening out instead. IMO, it would look better if it got thin fast.

Good points David, I'll be sure to pay attention to that with my next stem!

All my pipes are freehand drilled. I don't own a two jaw chuck.

This pipe is stunning! I'm loving that contrasting stain.

I was ready to say that extension is too long as uber, but after I measured it, its okay. IMO end of extension + flare are too thick, and it is causing that effect, if you would make it thinner it would look better, for me personally :)

Otherwise great pipe, like all of yours!

It's a unique pipe with bold proportions, and I like the overall look of it. I can see why you made the extension flare like you did. It matches the diameter of the stem, and it's consistent with the flare of the bowl. I don't think changing little details would make it look any better.
