I really like this one, Love. The continuing theme of the acorn shape and the tree bark finish really pulls the whole thing together. What is the stem ring material? It almost looks as the a part of the bark was peeled away to show the inner flesh of the tree. Very nice.

Very nice! I especially like the rim of the bowl, which looks like, to me at least, a difficult area to make look like that. Nice blastication, now that you've coined the term.

Love this is a wonderful pipe. The blastication is very cool. The lines are wonderful. The stem ring, to me, pulls the stummel and cumberland stem together for a superb pipe!

And very appropriately named, too.

Very nice shape and superb blasting so far... But it seems that the discussion about stemwork is starting over...

In my eyes the stem junktion is a little bit to steeply - looks like the stem could be longer in this case... Or the first part from the bowl a little bit straighter before it gets smaller?

But as said before: Great shape!

Love,
Wonderful job as usual. Very nice bark effect. The ring? Mazur birch?
I'm finnishing a similar pipe, only straight...will post when complete.

i must agree, interestingly to me it shows only on the second photo which might be just a lighting, angle or something. it's a very very nice pipe. love the finish as well.

Thank you for the kind words gents!!

I will agree the stem could have been 1cm longer to make the proportions a bit more true but I still love it as it is...and heck it sold after a mere 4 min. on the site so someone must have liked it :P

The shank ring is indeed like Dan Guessed mauzer birch

Best

Stunning... I doubt the owner thinks the stem is too short...

That is art!

Curse you pipemakers with your electrified workshops....

I have to try and find somewhere around $300 to properly wire my workshop. Running 220V out about 200 feet is going to suck for wallet....

Very very pretty. I like the short stem; makes a very ellegant pipe into an informal, chummy smoke (if that makes any sense).
