Great contrast stain, especially on the birdseye... how'd you accomplish it? I also like the twist from bowl bottom to shank... nice flow.

Thanks, Nick, that line looks great, right? :)

kbadkar, for the contrast stain: I first stain it black, then sand it quite liberally (that will mess the edges, but it's ok) following with a brownish stain. I then retouch the edges with black then sand again using 1000 grit sandpaper, this time very carefully.
