hi guys, how the hell do you open the jaws on the chuck!! thanks

Should be a square shaped receptacle on the side of the chuck for a chuck key to open and close the jaws.

Been there, done that.

If it's the chuck that came with the Taig, use the little rods and insert into the holes in the chuck, hold one still and rotate the other.
