Can someone try to explain to me how to post photos from windows media gallery. Thank you.

I haven't got the slightest idea about Windows (I haven't used Windows in almost a decade), but the short of it is that you'll need to upload your photos to a hosting provider like flikr, picassa, or the like, then use the bbcode above to display them here.

For instance, this code:
