Search function not working

My humble apologies if this is in the process of being dealt with but I tried to search a few terms over the past couple of days but to no avail. Then I came across one of the terms I had searched for while browsing (the word "olive")

There is a recent gallery entry here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4073&start=0 for "olive" but the search function is not picking it up which makes me wonder if my other searches were victim to the same issue ("cherry" & "giant" to name a few).

Any ideas..?

Yes, the search function IS being a dirty liar. Luckily there's usually only 6 or 7 pages in each topic, so it's not too hard to dig around....

This has been an ongoing problem for a couple years. No matter how many times the database is indexed, the search function still doesn't pick up anything newer than the most recent upgrade. I'm still working on this.

No problem, and thanks for the work! Like I said, it's not too hard to dig around here, and I usually come across something interesting that I wasn't looking for to begin with. (Like wooden churchwarden stem bending... )

Forum search utilities always seem problem-ridden to me...

Boy, it would be great if we could have the entire archive search-able again. Please
