I got it this morning. The pics of the bamboo looked pretty good, to be honest. Not sure what he was hoping for with the tampers.

I replied and enquired about the black bamboo, prices seemed fair but he would only ship with payment first via bank transfer. This rings alrms bells, especially as he contacted me so I said i would pass.

Be interesting to see if anyone takes the risk.

I've received the email more than once. I inquired back as well but am not going to risk the amount of money on a sample that they require. I think a black bamboo sample would cost something like $180 minimum... Having said that, their response did seem normal enough (to me) for an oversees vendor. Good pics, detailed pricing and sizes...

I'd consider managing a group buy... but not if it's only black ox horn.

I've had a couple exchanges with him now... wants to charge more for the non-black horn... and really doesn't have all that much that isn't black.

I asked about a sample of 3 sticks and was quote $40 something. It was the shipping that bumped up the price. Unless its me that contacted them I am wary of sending money before goods are recieved.
