Hey everyone,
This is my first post here on the forums and I am very excited to become an avid poster here.
I have been making pipes for about 5 months now, and do most of them with a Dremel for shaping and rough sanding, a bench grinder for polishing, and 600 grit for fine sanding. The holes are all drilled with home brewed bits on a cordless 19v Craftsman drill.
Just acquired a really old Milwaukee car polisher that spins about 1700rpm, gonna experiment with this and some heavy grit for shaping.
In the process of deciding on things like a lathe, new bench grinder(mine is about 30 years old) with variable speed, band saw, engraving stuff, and many other things.
Basically, just wanted to say hi and give thanks in advance for all the knowledge I plan to acquire here. Also to say that as my website Briar World goes to launch I will be posting about it, and the processes used in developing our logo and cases for the pipes and many other things.

Introduction
There is nothing like being left alone again, to walk peacefully with oneself in the woods. To boil one's coffee and fill one's pipe, and to think idly and slowly as one does it.
